Special Needs Clients
Many Special Needs Clients, like those with Autism or Fibromyalgia, benefit greatly from Massage Therapy and Bodywork. Over the years therapists have developed techniques that are very effective, both with and without the use of massage oil. Often times a "less is more" approach can have profound effects.
Age Groups
Meeting the special needs of various age groups is not as complicated as it may seem. Infants thrive much better with physical and neurological stimulation. Symptoms of birth defects or birth trauma may be alleviated, as well.
Teenagers benefit from Massage Therapy and Bodywork by the release of physical and emotional stress. Body image is often improved.
The elderly population need the increased circulation to tissues and improved flexibility provided by Massage Therapy/Bodywork.
